Terms & Conditions
Guidelines for using our website, media, and related ministry tools.
Last updated: August 24, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the City of Faith Church International website and related online content. They are general website terms for our church family and guests. They are not legal advice and do not create a pastoral, professional, or fiduciary relationship by themselves. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By visiting this website, watching our media, submitting a form, registering for an event, or giving online through links we provide, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you use the site on behalf of a family member, ministry, or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them as well.
2. About this website
This site is offered by City of Faith Church International, 1001 Goldcrest Dr, Springfield, TN 37172, to share who we are, invite people to worship, provide ministry information, and make it easier to visit, connect, and give. Service times, event details, and ministry descriptions may change. Please confirm details with the church if timing is important.
3. Permitted use
You may view and share our public pages for personal, congregational, or other non-commercial purposes that honor the mission of the Church. You agree not to:
- Use the site in a way that is unlawful, harassing, or harmful to others
- Attempt to break into, scrape in an abusive way, overload, or disrupt the site or its servers
- Copy, sell, or republish substantial portions of sermons, music, graphics, or photos without permission
- Impersonate the Church, our pastors, or our staff
- Submit false, misleading, or malicious information through our forms
We may restrict or block access if we believe these Terms are being violated.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, the Church (and/or its licensors) own the text, sermons, graphics, logos, photographs, video, audio, and design of this website. Sermons, worship recordings, and original music are shared so people can grow in faith. They are not a grant of rights to copy, stream commercially, or distribute as your own. Third-party marks (including Church Center, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and others) belong to their owners.
You may share a link to a public page or a public video. For any other reuse—print, broadcast, recording, or large-scale distribution—please contact us first.
5. User submissions
If you send a prayer request, question, testimony, or other message, you grant the Church permission to use that content internally for ministry follow-up. We will not publish your story with identifying details without your consent, except as described in our Privacy Policy when safety or law requires it. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit and for having the right to share it.
6. Online giving
Gifts made through Church Center or other processors we link to are voluntary contributions to the Church. Payment is processed by those third parties. Refunds, failed payments, and donor statements are handled according to church policy and the processor’s rules. A gift does not purchase goods or services, does not create membership rights beyond those the Church already recognizes, and does not make the Church a trustee of designated funds except as we expressly agree in writing or as required by law. Please give only what you intend as a donation.
7. Events, registration, and Church Center
Event listings, RSVPs, and check-in may use Church Center or similar tools. Registration may close, move online, or change location. The Church may cancel or modify an event when needed for safety, weather, or ministry reasons. Third-party platforms have their own terms; those terms apply when you use their apps or sites.
8. Livestreams, photography, and recordings
Public worship and many church events are photographed, recorded, or livestreamed. By attending, you understand you may appear in crowd images or a broadcast. The Church may use those recordings to share the gospel and to tell the story of our congregation. If you need a reasonable accommodation regarding identifiable promotional use, contact us as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Third-party links and embeds
We may link to or embed Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Church Center, maps, fonts, or other services. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies. Use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
10. No professional advice
Sermons, articles, videos, and website copy are offered for spiritual encouragement and church information. They are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. If you need professional help, please consult a qualified advisor. For pastoral care, contact the church; our team will walk with you as we are able.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Church disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, City of Faith Church International and its pastors, officers, employees, and volunteers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the website or inability to use it. Our total liability for claims relating to the website will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless the Church and its leaders and volunteers from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the site, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or of another person’s rights.
14. Termination
We may stop offering any part of the website, or refuse access, at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability, and governing law—will survive.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where prohibited, you agree that courts located in Robertson County, Tennessee (or the proper federal court) are the venue for disputes related to the website or these Terms.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms as our ministries or the law change. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If you continue to use the site after an update, the revised Terms apply.
